The sari (Hindi: साड़ी): long piece of cloth, is a traditional garment worn by millions of women in South Asia.
It is one of the rare clothing habits to have been preserved over time. The sari is a wide strip of fabric approximately four feet wide by five to six meters long, it is draped and fitted without seams or pins. Its wearing technique varies according to regions, castes, activities, religions, etc.
